Paneer balls- A tale of overstuffed refrigerator and a lost match ...




Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cook time : 20 minutes
Number of servings : 5 - 6 persons

Ingredients : 

Paneer : 200 Gms 
Onion : 1 number finally chopped
Green Chilli : 1 number Deseeded and finely chopped
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt : 1/2 Tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder : 1/2 Tsp
Chaat masala : 1/2 Tsp 
Besan : 2 Tbsp
Corn flour : 1 Tbsp
Processed Cheese 
Bread crumbs
Corn flour : 3 Tsp
 
Oil for Deep frying 

METHOD : 

1. Grate the paneer in a bowl.

2. Add cornflour, rice flour, onion, green chillies, salt, coriander leaves and mix well.

Mix well till you get a soft Dough

3. Take a small portion of the mixture and stuff it with a piece of cheese cube.

4. Dip the balls in cornflour slurry.

5. Roll the balls in bread crumbs well and set it in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.

6. Heat some oil for deep frying, slowly drop the paneer cheese balls into the hot oil.

7. Fry them till they are golden brown in color.

SERVE THEM HOT WITH SOME KETCHUP OR SPICY MAYO
